Project Description
Following the decision to expand the school, LMAC were engaged to complete the internal fit out of the new contemporary three storey block which provided eight new classrooms, group rooms and a multi-use hall, together with a range of ancillary facilities. The new block was connected to the existing school via the construction of a new single storey extension.
The remodelling and refurbishment of existing school spaces provided refreshed facilities to meet the demands of a larger and growing school.
Challenges
As the school was occupied, the provision of new incoming utilities meant that we could only carry out the works by fully utilising school holiday breaks. We therefore programmed our works accordingly and provided extra resources to ensure that the works were completed.
